i keep trying i guess thats ok. my knees r doing great. been 4 wks and no cane. i have not been
doing good selecting the good diet foods i have been losing but i have been cheating and eating junk foods, but eating less of it than usual. gotta get back to healther foods. love all of you to

Goin' Campin'

Hi, gals!

Rick is taking a couple of days off, so we are going camping! Yeah!! We haven't been in our tent since October 2003. We are so ready to get the hammock up. It is a lot of work to get ready to go, but always well worth it. We'll be eating a lot, riding the Honda a bit and hiking a lot. So, maybe I'll get a pound or two off this week. I've been sorting gear and washing sleeping bags. Mmmmmm. They smell so good. Anxious to get in them. Guess I'd better go roll up those clean bags and get to bed. Love to you all..............

Boo Hoo

Well, I lost a lb, but I gained 10 from the steroids, so that one lb means I still have 9 to lose to be back where I started. I hate it, I tell you. I have been putting the ole portable oxygen on every day and walking half a mile or more with Daisy, so maybe the walking will help. I know exercise keeps us healthy so maybe it will help me get thin again.

Well I am stuck and can't loose another pound, didn't even have protein bars Dixie.But I really think its because i don't move enough to burn calories. I am still hanging in though. So glad you are getting to see Holley. I am proud of her for getting thin. Well poor Lydia has to use oxygen , But I bet she will feel better. Pat I hope you are getting stronger daily. I really miss everyone. When everyone gets over their surg. We need to get together. I guess That may be Fall.Guess what? I did turbo-tax and thought I was finished and a month later I went back to it because our refund didn't come and I didn't E-file it. I thought I was done.

Confessions of a protein-bar-aholic

My name is Dixie and I am addicted to protein bars, especially the ones that taste like snickers. Don't read the ingredients it will only scare you. I have about 4 more in the house and there won't be any more after that. Sure was good. I was going to say on Saturday that I was back down a pound and a half, but I weighed this morning and I am back to where I started however long ago we have been doing this.

Holley is here and I tried to do her workout video with she and Beth. I couldn't get half way through the warmup portion. Yikes!! My hat is off to her. She has really stuck it out. She looks great in my clothes.

I hope you all do better than me the rest of the month. Go girls!!

WW go Bye Bye

Well group, I gained 3 lbs this past week. Steroids-- need I say more. Anyway, I read about a new diet so have cancelled my Weight Watcher's on line accounts. The plan is called No S. It is very, very simple. No portion sizes, no points, no calorie counting, etc. Every day you get three meals. Nothing more. No Snacks, No Sweets, and No Seconds. But on the days that start with S you can have Snacks, Sweets and Seconds. The article said people have lost 90 something lbs in six months on this plan. Sounded good to me. So that is what I am going to do.

thanks for all the prayers. lost weight while there but would never want to do it that way again
hate those pain meds. doing good. i think. can't wait for a good hot bath and to get staples out
i am kicking around the house with my little walker. man what fun. john and norma are next.
ok i see the ww online diet is the thing. good for all of you but that makes me crazy. now if the
