It has been at least a week since my last confession. I am not getting on the scale. What I don't know won't make me mad!! I have got to get back to eating like I used to.
Gene and I went to a "green" baby shower today for a dear friend. Lots of cloth diapers, glass baby bottles and no plastic. We were all given the go ahead to think ecologically minded~~shop at Goodwill, bring hand-me-downs, be creative and make your cards, wrap the presents in newspaper, give gift cards. So, I gave a used rocking chair a friend had given me (and Gene fixed) and I bought a huge cuddly bunny for $2.50 at the thrift store. I did my part to not make a big carbon footprint. Quite an interesting day. It didn't save me from eating all the great, fattening organic food so I am bloated like a toad. Back to the soups, no bread, no dairy (or cake) and lots of water.
I have worked myself tired several days in a row working on my new flower beds. I don't mind shoveling the dirt and planting but I have to give up the wheelbarrow hauling. If you are in the neighborhood come and see my pretty flowers.
Holley's coming so I have to get ready to try to keep up with her. She has been working out. I think I am in trouble.
